Wednesday saw the release of fresh information regarding the development of Threads, a social media site owned by Meta that was introduced as an alternative to Elon Musk’s X last year.
According to the data, Threads is gaining ground on Elon Musk’s previous Twitter, X, in the contest for daily active users.
Apptopia’s analytics show that while X hosts 22 million users in the US, Threads has 28 million daily active users.
Around 250 million people use X every day worldwide, compared to 130 million users of Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta.
