Currently, organized crime poses a threat to ten main cities in Punjab, and law enforcement is having a difficult time apprehending dangerous criminals.
Police sources state that there are still 960 suspects at large who have been implicated in serious crimes such kidnapping for ransom, murder, extortion, and unlawful occupancy.
The hardest hit cities are Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rawalpindi, and Dera Ghazi Khan, where criminal gang activity has increased. These and other communities are currently on high alert as law enforcement tries to stem the flow of increasing criminal activity.
According to police data, these offenders are connected to 273 distinct gangs that are active throughout the province. With 264 people still fleeing arrest, Bahawalpur has the biggest number of dangerous criminals on the loose.
