Three people were killed and four injured in separate traffic accidents in Karachi, the most recent terrible events in the port city as the number of traffic-related fatalities keeps rising.
In Baldia Town, a fast-moving dumper truck knocked over a child, killing him and seriously injuring his two brothers. The three brothers were on a motorcycle close to Lucky Charhai, Old Toll Plaza, when they were struck by the heavy-duty vehicle.
Rahib, Akhwan Khan’s 18-year-old son, consequently passed away instantly, while his two older brothers, Munir and Sahib, were gravely injured and transported to the Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital.
The three brothers were on their way home from work at a marble factory in the industrial district.
