KARACHI: On Saturday, a motorcycle and a dumper crashed near Karachi’s Korangi Crossing, resulting in the unfortunate deaths of at least three persons.
The dumper, which was allegedly coming from the incorrect direction, struck the three victims as they were heading towards the Ibrahim Hyderi district, according to the police.
All three of them passed away from their wounds while being transported to a hospital.
“The deceased have been identified as Amjad Jilani, Muhammad Asif, and Shaukat,” according to authorities. “Two of them were from Bahawalpur, Punjab.”
Police stated, “The driver has fled the scene,” but they added they are working to catch him.
In the meantime, the dumper was set on fire by angry onlookers after the accident, although the fire has now been contained.
