In an attack on a van carrying a prisoner between Rouen and Evreux, France, three prison police officers lost their lives.
The television station “BfmTv” reported this.
At precisely 11:00 in the morning, there was an attack at the Incarville toll gate.
The prisoner was able to get away. Media reports state that multiple individuals carried out the act.
The gendarmerie immediately implemented the Epervier plan, which they typically deploy in kidnapping or escape situations.
“We are all shocked by the attack that happened this morning and claimed the lives of prison officers.” Emanuel Macron, the president of France, wrote it on X.
“The country is standing with the families, the injured, and their coworkers, and every effort is being made to identify the offenders.”
