Three players and a physiotherapist have been handed lifelong bans by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) for their unapproved departure from the nation.
The players, Abdul Rehman, Ehtesham Aslam, and Murtaza Yaqoob, as well as the physio Waqas, have been suspended due to their unapproved travel to another nation. The people in question, according to PHF Secretary Rana Mujahid, departed the nation without telling the federation and then asked for political asylum outside.
He made it clear that none of these acts would have been possible without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the federation. The players and physio did not show up for the training camp even after they were called back, which is why the federation decided to give the players a lifetime ban.
