Actress Tilda Swinton will receive an Honorary Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in recognition of her remarkable career. The award will be given to the Doctor Strange star on February 13, 2025, at the Berlinale Palace.
“The range of Tilda Swinton’s work is breathtaking,” said Festival Director Tricia Tuttle, who lavished the star with accolades. She adds a great deal of humanity, compassion, intelligence, humor, and style to film, and her work broadens our perspectives on the world.
In addition to being a longtime member of the Berlinale family, Tilda is one of our contemporary filmmaking heroes. It gives us great pleasure to give her this honorary golden bear,” she continued.
