He said, “We’re bringing four astronauts back [to the ISS] to do a lot of science and a lot of outreach in education, maybe as early as next year.”
There are just two astronauts from Britain who have been deployed to space, and the 52-year-old was the first to conduct a spacewalk outside the International Space Station (ISS) in 2016.
He told press that they planned to reveal the entire crew in June of this year.
To the question, “Will you be on that mission?” Major Peake said, “Well, I really hope so.”
Major Peake declared that he would be leaving the European Space Agency (ESA).
