WELLINGTON: In an effort to strengthen its tourism industry and economy, New Zealand announced Monday that it would relax its visa requirements to permit vacationers to work from home while they are there.
In a statement, Immigration Minister Erica Stanford said that starting on January 27, visitors would be able to work while they are in the nation.

In a news conference after the announcement, she noted that while she wasn’t sure how many would take advantage of the opportunity.
