Hugh Grosvenor, a millionaire pal of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, seems to have rejected his June wedding invitation. The Duke of Westminster, Hugh, has a net worth of $11.8 billion.
The Sussexes were reportedly not invited, but it has subsequently come to light that they were sent a notice and told Hugh it would be “too awkward” to attend. Hugh’s big day is anticipated to be witnessed by many of Harry’s family members, including King Charles, William, and Prince George.
According to a source: “Harry actually got a ‘save the date’ card a few months ago but called Hugh and said it would be too awkward if he and Meghan Markle attended, so he made his apologies and Hugh understood.”
The couple might have wished to prevent any conflict because senior royals would undoubtedly be attending the ceremony.
Their choice coincides with reports that Meghan, who will stand down as a senior royal in 2020, is preparing a comeback into acting. According to astrologer Susan Miller, Meghan “craves” to go back to Hollywood.
Susan Miller, an astrologer, stated: “Meghan desires to resume performing… The strategy of [Netflix] to produce movies is not one that I believe will succeed. I believe she’ll return to her job.”
Harry and Meghan seem to have been concentrating on developing their nonprofit organization and becoming independent of the royal family in recent months.
In November, Meghan also shared with an audience some intriguing projects that they were working on as part of their Netflix arrangement.
