Iqbal won the match in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, handily 6-0 to guarantee his spot in the championship round.
Iqbal won each frame handily, beginning with a 49–18 victory in the opening frame.
He kept breaking down Singh’s defense, winning the next four frames 38-34, 46-13, 40-31, and 52-13 before sealing the deal with a perfect sixth-round victory at 45-0. A 40-point break in the last frame demonstrated Iqbal’s exceptional form and emphasized his supremacy.
Throughout the match, Singh was unable to build a convincing challenge or win a single frame.
