ISLAMABAD Pakistan and Turkiye signed a number of memorandums of understanding (MoUs), protocols, and cooperation agreements on Thursday in a number of sectors with the goal of further strengthening bilateral ties between the two fraternal countries.
During their two-day visit to Pakistan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif witnessed the signing of the deals.
Prime Minister Shehbaz welcomed Turkish President Erdogan to Pakistan during a joint press conference following the signing of the agreements.
He said that he hoped the visit would be very informative. In his remarks, the prime minister emphasized the centuries-old familial ties that exist between Pakistan and Turkey.
