Despite their departure from Family responsibilities, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to promote themselves as Royals.
To maintain their cover, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex like staging “faux royal engagements.”
“Engaged royal watchers would likely categorize Harry and Meghan as celebrities or reality stars,” asserted royal analyst Kinsey Schofield.She continued: “But perception is reality and they are royal to the people that they are trying to impress.”
The Sussexes are “trying to visually maintain the royal aesthetic,” the speaker went on.
Then Ms. Schofield disclosed that in an effort to “maintain the perception of royalty,” Harry and Meghan “insist that you refer to them as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in public.”
