Today (Friday), the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and its followers across are commemorating the 17th anniversary of the death of their late leader, Benazir Bhutto, with a great deal of reverence and devotion.
The hometown and final resting site of the Bhutto family, Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, will host a major crowd. The meeting will be addressed by PPP Central and Provincial Leaders, President Asif Ali Zardari, and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah arrived at the Presidential House Naudero in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh one day before the anniversary. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Benazir’s youngest child, is currently the first lady of Pakistan and the central president of the PPP’s Ladies Wing. She is also Asif’s sister and a member of the provincial assembly (MPA) Faryal Talpur.
