ISLAMABAD: On September 15, 2023, the majority ruling that struck down the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO) modifications is scheduled to be appealed intra-court. The Supreme Court is scheduled to declare its reserved decision in this case.
According to the cause list released today by the highest court, a larger bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faiz Isa would declare the reserved verdict at 9:30 am on Friday (today).
The larger bench, which is led by the CJP and consists of Justices Athar Minallah, Aminuddin Khan, Jamal Khan Mandokhail, and Hasan Azhar Rizvi, had set aside its decision on June 6 in response to several appeals brought by the federal and provincial governments against the ruling of the supreme court on September 15.
