Tom Cruise will star in Doug Liman’s forthcoming supernatural thriller, which is presently in the early stages of development, according to Liman.
At a recent NYC screening of the documentary Gaucho Gaucho, Liman spoke with Showbiz411 about his ambition to work with Cruise on a “scary” film, which signaled a change in direction for his career.
“Neither Tom nor I have ever done one,” he remarked.
There are rumors that Liman’s next project might be the sci-fi thriller Deeper.
Though its official release date is still unknown, insiders told Deadline that the movie is currently set up at Warner Bros.
Additionally, the Mission Impossible star made a social media tease about an impending project a week ago.
