For his work in real-life action film, Tom Cruise is scheduled to receive the prestigious BFI Fellowship.
The British Film Institute started the countdown to a month-long series of events centered in London in Cruise’s honor by announcing the news through social media and a press statement.
In May, 27 of Cruise’s films will be shown at the BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX. On Sunday, May 11, the Top Gun: Maverick star will also make an appearance at In Conversation, a public and aspiring filmmakers’ event at the BFI Southbank.
The Fellowship honors Cruise’s production-related achievements to the UK film industry.
He has produced a number of his films, many of which were shot in places like the Lake District.
