The PML-N-led government at the center has received a threat from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) that the “federal government will collapse the day PPP withdraws support” for making decisions without considering it.
“The PPP is not taken into consideration in the decisions that the PML-N consistently makes. In a statement released on Sunday, PPP spokeswoman Shazi Marri remarked, “Perhaps the PML-N is unaware of the [seriousness of the matter].”
She said that the PPP and the Sindh government were not informed about the creation of the Pakistan Maritime & Sea Port Authority (PMSPA) by the government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Additionally, the PPP spokeswoman stated that they have been calling for a meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) for a long time.
