RAWALPINDI: In the midst of an increase in terror occurrences, mostly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, the military’s top commanders assessed the risks presented by “inimical forces” on Tuesday and decided that the Pakistan Army would not allow the hard-won victories against terrorism to be undone.
The decision was made in response to the military’s media wing reporting that Army Chief General Asim Munir chaired the Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
The top commanders discussed a variety of countermeasures after evaluating the hostile forces, nefarious individuals, subversive proxies, and enablers of Pakistan’s external and internal enemies, especially those operating in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The conference reiterated that the people of Pakistan continue to support the Pakistan Army.
