With the federal government starting to rebuild government guest houses under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Gilgit-Baltistan’s tourism industry is expected to see significant growth.

It is anticipated that the SIFC’s endeavors to improve lodging options for travelers will uncover these undiscovered treasures, providing visitors with first-rate amenities and enhancing accessibility. It is expected that this action will greatly strengthen the local tourism sector.Nonetheless, certain groups in the tourism industry oppose the project, claiming that it propagates false information in order to protect their own interests. Despite these obstacles, Gilgit-Baltistan’s citizens, who are renowned for their awareness and education, support the development initiatives.
