Sheikh Amir Randeem, the leader of the group, said the demonstration would focus on problems including hefty fines and baseless accusations brought against transporters.
Transporters are expected to congregate in Thokar Niaz Baig tomorrow at 10 am to express their concerns during the nonviolent protest.
Sheikh Amir has denounced FIRs from the Motorway Police, as well as what he considers to be illegal and hefty fines. He has also stressed how unfair it is to forbid cars from using the route after 10 p.m.
The demonstration will go on, the chairman declared, until the transporters’ complaints are heard and justice is done.
