ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, Bushra Bibi, the spouse of Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), told a judge that she no longer has faith in the legal system.
Her remarks were made during the hearing of a case involving claims of smashing a car into Rangers members at an anti-terrorism court (ATC) presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra.
According to Bushra, who spoke with the judge during the hearing, “It has taken some time, but legal protocols have been followed.”
“That is not an issue, but we have lost faith in the courts,” the former first lady responded.
Judge Sipra disagreed, saying, “Not everywhere is it like way. Notwithstanding its shortcomings, the legal system is in operation.
