PARACHINAR/SADDA: As of Sunday, fighting between opposing tribes in various parts of Kurram district had resulted in at least five fatalities and numerous injuries.
The tribesmen engaged in the two-day battle employed both heavy and light weapons. The brawl was started by a property ownership dispute and the digging of trenches in Boshehra and the adjacent districts, according to The News.
According to police sources who spoke with the publication, there was heavy fire exchanged in the Balishkhel neighborhood as a result of building on a disputed piece of land.
Both sides suffered losses as a result of the conflicts.
Concurrently, one of the tribes engaged in the battle had a market in Sadda Bazaar that was blown up.
