WASHINGTON: As frigid weather cloud the celebration of President-elect Donald Trump’s return to power, he took a plane to Washington on Saturday for his inauguration.
Outgoing President Joe Biden dispatched Trump an Air Force plane to his Palm Beach, Florida, residence, where the Republican had worked on his ascent to power following his victory over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on November 5. He is traveling with his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka, and her husband Jared.
Trump flew to his golf club in Sterling, Virginia, which is outside of Washington, after landing at Dulles airport in suburban Virginia.
