November will see Duane “Keffe D” Davis’ trial. Davis is believed to be the lone survivor of the car from which gunfire were fired in Las Vegas in 1996. According to his attorney, he anticipates being able to raise the required sum to be released on house arrest.
After being detained the previous year, approximately 27 years after the hip-hop artist’s passing, Duane “Keffe D” Davis was scheduled to go on trial in June.
According to reports, he is the only surviving member of the group that was inside the car when gunfire broke out in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 7, 1996. Six days after his injuries, Tupac passed away.
Judge Carli Kierny of Clark County District Court recognized during a Tuesday hearing that the defendant’s new attorney, Carl Arnold, is not familiar with the case and that the prosecution is still giving the defense access to evidence.
