The military’s media wing stated on Saturday that two terrorists were killed by security forces during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kalat district of Balochistan on the evening of September 6-7 due to reports of terrorist activity.
According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the troops “surrounded and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and sent two terrorists to hell” during the IBO.
The statement added that the terrorists were actively engaged in many terrorist acts in the area against both security personnel and innocent civilians, and that weapons, ammo, and explosives were also found among the terrorists who were slain.
According to the ISPR, the forces started a sanitization operation in the area to eliminate any potential terrorists.
