LONDON: At an awards ceremony, two eminent British-Pakistanis were recognized for their contributions to Islamic finance and British public life.
The Global Islamic Finance Leadership Award 2024 went to Asim Khan, the creator of an Islamic finance firm, while the Cyber Industry Category Award went to Ahmed Junaid, a renowned network and cybersecurity expert of Pakistani descent.
The prestigious awards honor Ahmed for his work implementing numerous high-profile cyber security initiatives for the UK’s local governments and the private sector, as well as Asim for his outstanding contributions to the Islamic finance sector and his significant role in advancing the industry on a global scale.
With a career spanning over ten years, Asim has made a name for himself as a prominent player in Islamic banking.
