In a wide-ranging interview with Wilfred Frost, Janet Yellen expressed her wish for a “united front” on the subject ahead of a major conference of finance ministers in Italy, noting that Ukraine has “substantial needs.”
Ms. Yellen stated that she would not comment on the upcoming UK general election but that she has “always loved” seeing women achieve prominent positions in politics and economics.
It referred to the potential of Labour’s Rachel Reeves being the UK’s first female Chancellor of the Exchequer.
