Scott Urbom, the US Consul General in Karachi, and other American mission officials wished everyone a happy and prosperous Sindh Culture Day on Sunday.
On this occasion, they also produced brief video messages of love and peace for the Sindhi people, expressing their good wishes in Sindhi. They each sent separate messages saying, “Sindh jo sakafati deharho mubarak hojay.”
Top diplomats and consulate personnel donned Sindhi hats and Ajrak shawls in a variety of styles.
We honor the rich legacy of a region known for its mystics, Sufis, poets, and saints on Sindh Culture Day. Urbom stated, “Sindh has long been a symbol of inclusivity and tolerance.”
