After reportedly shooting two pupils and two teachers at a Georgia high school, a fourteen-year-old kid has been taken into custody.
Colt Gray, the gunman, was a student at Apalachee High School in Barrow County. After the attack, the school was placed on lockdown, and police surrounded the area until Gray turned himself in.
The four fatalities that passed away were identified as teachers Christina Irimie, 53, and Richard Aspenwall, 39, as well as students Christian Angulo, 14, and Mason Schermerhorn, 14.
Christian was called “a very good kid, very sweet, and so caring” by his parents.
He had so many admirers. His passing was so unexpected and abrupt. Our hearts are genuinely shattered. She went on, “He really didn’t deserve this.”
According to Chris Hosey, the director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the FBI received multiple anonymous information concerning threats made online to carry out a school shooting in May of last year.
He claimed that the 13-year-old Gray had been identified as a potential suspect by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
They spoke with Gray’s father, who said that although he owned hunting rifles, his son did not have unsupervised access to them.
