KarachiKARACHI: On Saturday, light to moderate rain fell in some parts of the port city, temporarily lowering the temperature there.
InAccording to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Nazimabad, Paposh region, had the maximum amount of rain (37.2mm). at comparison, rain fell at Keamari (25 mm), Mauripur (23 mm), Korangi (22 mm), Quaidabad (12 mm), Orangi Town (4.5 mm), and DHA Phase II (3.5 mm).
A significant amount of rain fell on II Chundrigar Road, Saddar, Bahadurabad, Tariq Road, Sharea Faisal, Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, and the surrounding districts.
On the other hand, some low-lying locations, like Golimar, have stored rainwater due to the brief period of rain.
The Met Office predicts that during the following two days, the megalopolis’s highest temperature will surge to 38 °C and the minimum temperature may plummet to 29 °C.
