The Netflix documentary series Beckham, which is centered on her husband David Beckham, had an open discussion with Victoria Beckham.
The 49-year-old fashion designer opened up to Financial Times in an interview, discussing her marriage to the football great and how “liberating” it was to discuss their family life in the docuseries.
“I was really aware that I would typically be domineering during my filming. However, since David was the main focus of this, I decided to adopt a laid-back attitude,” Victoria remarked.
“People come up and say, ‘We love the documentary,’ let me tell you,” she continued. They used to be afraid to get near.
In October 2023, Netflix debuted a four-part series that chronicled the 48-year-old football player’s legendary career, his relationship with Victoria, and the difficulties they encountered together.
At the Torrisi restaurant in New York City, where he had his David Beckham Fragrances Launch Party last year, David also talked candidly about the filming of Beckham.
“It wasn’t easy and it was an emotional rollercoaster over the last two and a half years but I think we’ve produced something that my team can be very proud of,” he stated to the crowd.
