Compared to the previous polls, around 127 million people will exercise their right to vote in the general elections of 2024, which are set for February 8.
In Pakistan, there are 1.2 million more voters in the current elections than there were last year.
Looking at the breakdown, there are 58.5 million female voters, or 46% of the total number of votes cast. On the other hand, 68.5 million male voters account for 54% of all votes cast.
According to the age-wise research, 57.1 million voters this year, or 45% of the overall voter population, are between the ages of 18 and 35.
However, there are 24 million older voters (18.9% of the total) who are 56 years of age or older.
Looking at voters by province, Punjab has the most votes, making it at the top of the list. 72.3 million votes, or 56.9% of the total, are cast in the largest province in the nation.
Sindh receives 26.6 million votes, placing it second only to Punjab, accounting for 21% of the total. Balochistan receives 5.3 million votes, placing it last, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa comes in third place with 21.7 million votes.
