A Boeing plane that was traveling from Spain to Uruguay on Monday had severe turbulence that damaged at least thirty of the passengers, according to the news.
During the tragic Air Europa flight UX045, passengers shared horrifying video of the terrible moment when extreme turbulence over the Atlantic caused disorder in the cabin.
One unsecured passenger ended up being thrown into an overhead baggage compartment as a result.
The passenger’s legs may be seen sticking out of an overhead compartment in a video of the dramatic scenario.
Air Europa issued a statement following the incident, saying, “The plane has landed normally and the injuries of varying degrees that were recorded are already being treated.”
