US Vice President Kamala Harris has urged Pakistani-Americans to “understand the power of their vote” as former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden get ready to go to the polls in November.
The US vice president attended a fundraising luncheon for the Biden Victory Fund at the Bradbury, California, home of Pakistani-American philanthropist Dr. Asif Mahmood, the day before Biden, 81, was ridiculed for his lackluster speech against Trump, 78.
In contrast to four years ago, when the American people disapproved of Trump, Harris,59, voiced confidence in President Biden’s reelection to office despite the fact that Americans are unsure of their choice for president.
“We will prevail. She said, “It won’t be easy, but we’re going to prevail,” before addressing her worries.
