At 7:29 p.m., the incident took place close to the Powys village of Llanbrynmair.
A man’s death was confirmed by Dyfed-Powys Police, who also reported that 15 other people were hospitalized for injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening or life-altering.
According to the report, every other passenger on both trains was evacuated.
According to Transport for Wales, the deceased guy was a traveller on one of the trains.
“A low-speed train collision involving two trains” prompted the British Transport Police to say that officers were sent there.
According to police, paramedic, fire, and rescue personnel also arrived at the scene.
