In April, 53-year-old Fasil Teklemariam was found dead in his bedroom.
He was missing his right thumb, had multiple injuries on his legs, and a cut on his right hand.
Investigators think that Audrey Denise Miller, 19, killed Mr. Teklemariam. Tiffany Taylor Gray, 22, has also been taken into custody.
A witness identified Mr. Teklemariam as Gray’s “sugar daddy” to the police.
Furthermore, the detectives found evidence that cleaning supplies had been used at the crime scene.
Security cameras recorded Miller, Gray, and two males entering and leaving the building where Mr. Teklemariam resided over a period of several days, according to authorities.
Authorities think they gained entry to his residence using his key fob and stole a number of goods, including watches and electronics.
News, network, reports that Miller was charged with first-degree murder and armed felony murder after officers captured her on June 21. She is being held till a preliminary hearing is scheduled.
After being charged with first-degree murder and armed felony murder on a warrant, Gray was taken into custody by Prince George’s County police on July 1.
