Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir emphasized the vital significance of maintaining national unity and the power of Pakistan’s armed forces in a speech on the country’s 77th Independence Day.
Speaking at the Pakistan Military Academy Kakool’s Independence Parade, General Munir emphasized that Pakistan’s sovereignty and stability are directly jeopardized when the nation’s armed forces are weakened.
Anarchy and division, according to General Munir, undermine national integrity and open the door for outside attacks. In his analysis of the historical significance of Pakistan’s independence, he gave due recognition to Allama Iqbal’s visionary leadership, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s unwavering leadership, and the sacrifices made by millions of Muslims across the subcontinent.
