According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Friday (today) is predicted to provide dry and partly overcast weather to most of the nation.
“However, during the day, isolated locations in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, northeast Punjab, Pothohar region, Islamabad, [Azad Jammu and Kashmir], and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to experience rain-wind and thunderstorms [snowfall over hills],” the Met Office stated in its daily update.
“A few plain areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and central/south Punjab may experience light to moderate fog.”
In Murree, Galliyat, Naran, Kaghan, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Astore, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Poonch, and Haveli, the Met Office has issued a warning that heavy rain and snowfall could result in road closures or slick conditions tonight and Friday (today).
