A video of Noa Argamani being dragged away on a motorcycle went viral after she was abducted from the Nova music festival in October.
Liora, her 61-year-old mother, expressed her wish to see her only child one last time before passing away.
When Noa and the other four hostages were freed from Gaza by Israeli forces last month, she finally achieved her goal.
The 26-year-old went to the Tel Aviv hospital where her mother was receiving treatment for stage-four cancer, only hours after she was freed.
Noa commended her mother at the burial on Tuesday for never losing up.
She said, “I’m so glad you persevered and held on this whole time, just so I could see you at least once more.”
It occurs a few days after Noa called for the release of the other Israelis detained in the October terror attack in her first public speech via video.
Avinatan Or, her boyfriend, is still held captive.
It is important to remember that 120 hostages are still being held captive by Hamas, according to Ms. Argamani.
She expressed her gratitude to the Israeli troops for saving her life.
