The founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, recently shared his morning ritual and explained how he sets priorities for his day to make sure he gets enough sleep and relaxation.
The 60-year-old tech mogul, who also owns Blue Origin, has some of the most difficult responsibilities as executive chairman of Amazon. But he’s figured out the secret to the ideal morning routine that lets him spend his days as stress-free as possible.
In a video that recently went viral on X, Bezos is shown discussing specifics about his daily ritual during an event hosted by The Economic Club, according to the Deccan Herald.
“I prefer to idle away the morning hours, going to bed and waking up early.” I enjoy having coffee, reading the newspaper, and having breakfast with my children before they leave for school. I value my puttering time greatly. In the video, he stated, “That’s why I scheduled my first meeting for 10am.”
Additionally, he mentioned that he prefers to wrap up high-IQ meetings before lunch.
“That’s a 10am meeting, just like anything that’s highly intellectually taxing. Additionally, at 5 p.m., I feel like I can’t worry about that anymore. “Let’s try this again tomorrow at 10 a.m.” Bezos stated.
