Following the public outcry over Kanye West’s titanium teeth, an insider has revealed additional details about the “new experiment.”
Kanye made headlines on Wednesday when he showed off his metal implants on Instagram and made a comparison between himself and the monster Jaws from James Bond, who had metal teeth.
The 46-year-old rapper paid an astounding $850,000 for his implants, also referred to as “fixed prosthodontics,” according to a source who spoke with Page Six.
The tipster revealed that the “experimental dentistry” was created specifically for Kanye, saying, “They are, as the name suggests, fixed and permanent.” This extends far beyond grills or veneers. Additionally, there has never been an implant like the one he has.
In addition, the I Wonder hitmaker collaborated directly with Dr. Thomas Connelly, a self-described dentist and the industry’s “Father of Diamond Dentistry,” to “manufacture” and “fit” the dentures, which also had platinum and palladium components.
The insider reassured, “All that said, his natural teeth weren’t extracted.
