During a 30-minute window that opens at 5 p.m. EST (2200GMT) on Tuesday, Space X is scheduled to launch its sixth Starship flight test.
According to Space.com, the Starship mega rocket will launch from the company’s Starbase facility near Boca Chica Beach in South Texas.
The megarocket is notable for having two entirely reusable components: the massive Super Heavy first stage and the upper-stage spacecraft known as Starship, or simply “Ship.”
The sixth test flight was announced by SpaceX officials in a statement that read, “The next Starship flight test aims to expand the envelope on ship and booster capabilities and get closer to bringing reuse of the entire system online.”
