At least 28 people were hurt Thursday after a 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker crashed his vehicle into a crowd in Munich, Germany, according to authorities.
Officers stated that they were investigating the event as a suspected attack and that the arrested suspect had a history of drug and theft offenses.

According to Munich police, during a public sector workers’ strike, the Mini Cooper speeded up and crashed into the rear of a Verdi trade union gathering at around 10:30 local time.
Workers at public swimming pools, hospitals, daycare centers, and sanitary facilities joined the walkout, demanding longer vacations and greater wages.
