WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is introducing a new function called “playback speed” for videos, which will enable users to see content more efficiently and customize the viewing experience to suit their preferences.
Thanks to this new function, users will be able to watch films at varying speeds. According to WABetaInfo, some beta testers are already able to test out this new function.
The new playback speed control is positioned next to the video progress bar for quick user access while watching videos.
This button enables users to swiftly switch between speeds without interfering with their viewing experience.
Additionally, there are three playback speed settings accessible, giving customers the freedom to select the one that best fits their tastes.
