By adding a Spotify song-sharing tool to its status updates, WhatsApp plans to improve its music-sharing features.
Similar to Instagram Stories, users will be able to publish tracks straight from Spotify to their WhatsApp status with this soon-to-be function.
The operation of the feature
The Google Play Store’s WhatsApp beta update for Android 2.25.8.3 was the first to notice the feature. Users will soon have an additional choice when sharing music from Spotify, claims WABetaInfo.
Users will be able to submit a music as a WhatsApp status update in addition to the current option of sending it as a message to friends or groups.
A preview of the shared track will be created by WhatsApp, showing the album cover, artist name, and song title.
