As the messaging app keeps improving the calling experience for its customers, WhatsApp is launching a new call menu feature for conversations and groups.
Only select Android beta testers have access to the latest version, which is available for download from the Google Play Store.
A call option is added to the top bar of the chat or discussion boxes by this function. This single button took the place of the two buttons that were previously used to start voice and video calls.
Although this button shows a voice call icon in one-person chats, users can still conduct video calls by tapping on the call button, which gives them the option to make a voice or video call.
