The bloodiest shooting in Swedish history took place at a school in Orebro on Tuesday, killing ten people, including Syrians and a Bosnian.
Two embassies provided the initial information on the murders, as opposed to the police, who merely stated that victims of various nationalities were involved.
According to police, the alleged shooter, Rickard Andersson, 35, was later discovered dead with three firearms beside him.
Police encountered a “inferno” as they entered the school buildings, according to the regional police chief: “Dead people, screams, and smoke.”
Lars Wiren described a chaotic scene at Risbergska School, where people were rushing in and out of a massive structure that covered over 17,000 square feet.
