LAHORE: On Thursday, the world tour of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy came to an end, and it returned to Pakistan.
After traveling to each participating country in the eight-team competition, which is set to begin on February 19, the silver trophy finally made its way to Pakistan.
Up to February 15, the trophy will make its second trip around the nation, stopping in important cities like Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, and Sheikhupura.
It will also be on display at the opening ceremonies on February 7 and 11, respectively, at Karachi’s National Stadium and Lahore’s recently reconstructed Gaddafi Stadium.
