With the assistance of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the White Oil Pipeline Project—a crucial advancement in Pakistan’s energy infrastructure—has advanced significantly. The Machike-Thaliyan-Tarujabba pipeline project has reached a consensus among stakeholders, opening the door for construction to start.
Pakistan State Oil, PARCO, and Interstate Gas Systems are the principal sponsors of this research and development project, which is being overseen by Frontier Works Organization. The 477-kilometer pipeline will be divided into two portions, Machike-Thaliyan and Thaliyan-Tarujabba, that run parallel to the highway.
The proposal might save the national treasury billions of rupees by ensuring a smooth supply of petroleum products while cutting prices. Additionally, refineries in Attock, Chakpirana, and Faqirabad will be connected to it.
